This was beautiful, and wonderful, and oh so touching。 While I enjoyed the first this volume stole my heart!

There is a third installment of this, but after reading the reviews, it sounds like it's a retread of the previous plots, and I liked where the characters left off, so I'm going to just let it be。 There is a third installment of this, but after reading the reviews, it sounds like it's a retread of the previous plots, and I liked where the characters left off, so I'm going to just let it be。 。。。more

Alright, I’m impressed。 Fumino improved on her original work, mainly by better defining Taichi and giving him some meaningful work。 Kohei’s continued characterization suffers a little, but I’m fine if we see the first volume as being more from his perspective, while this one is from Taichi’s。Still the slowest of slow burn BL and the contrived accidents and meetings and new acquaintances drag a bit, though they’re genre standards of course。

As I predicted I loved how the characters and relationships developed in this volume。 There are times in which I did want to properly slap Taichi for some of his behaviour, but overall I love arc and becoming more and more familiar with the story, and becoming invested in the relationship between Taichi and Kohei。 I also really liked the addition of Maya in the story and how this impacted on them, and the representation of hearing impairment is done incredibly well。

Cait

This is embarrassing to say but I cried。 Like, a lot。 😪

This is a series that I can't help but love。Yes, it follows the same kind of tropes you'd expect to see in these kinds of stories, but it's somehow equally as heartwarming as it is annoying。Yes, you wanted to shake people by the shoulders and yell: "Just talk, damn it!" but I found myself pushing through that because I love Kohei and Taichi and the story is wonderful whether they are friends or lovers。I did, however, have to take off at least half a star because of my distaste towards Maya, she' This is a series that I can't help but love。Yes, it follows the same kind of tropes you'd expect to see in these kinds of stories, but it's somehow equally as heartwarming as it is annoying。Yes, you wanted to shake people by the shoulders and yell: "Just talk, damn it!" but I found myself pushing through that because I love Kohei and Taichi and the story is wonderful whether they are friends or lovers。I did, however, have to take off at least half a star because of my distaste towards Maya, she's just one of those kinds of character tropes that I don't gel with and I couldn't bring myself to care despite the author's best efforts to create a character that you could sympathise with, though I can see how others may get on with her better。I will be eagerly jumping to the next one。 。。。more

As adorable as the first one!It was like a rollarcoaster with this one。 It hade me sad, angry and so fucking happy over and over。What i like most about this manga (aside from taichi in general, cus i love this boy) is the developent of their relationship and the way they treat each other。yeah there is some miscommunication (more like non-verbal misunderstandings) but it´s never this annoying shit where u just wanna yell at the characaters to get their shit together。On the contrary, most of the t As adorable as the first one!It was like a rollarcoaster with this one。 It hade me sad, angry and so fucking happy over and over。What i like most about this manga (aside from taichi in general, cus i love this boy) is the developent of their relationship and the way they treat each other。yeah there is some miscommunication (more like non-verbal misunderstandings) but it´s never this annoying shit where u just wanna yell at the characaters to get their shit together。On the contrary, most of the time, they do speak about it and especially taichi doesn´t just give up and let kohei just ignore or talk down the issues。HEALTHY。RELATIONSHIPS。Y´ALL!If u just want to read a fluffy shounen-ai, thats exactly what u will find in this。regarding a specific trope:(view spoiler)[i was afraid of love triangles, with maya or someone else but damn was i relieved to see none of that here。 i hate this trope。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

5 stars。This story is just so crazy cute。 I love how the writer shows the developing relationships。 I also love how he talks about the challenges and feelings of the hearing impaired。 The tech they talk about is very cool and important as well。 I have been loving this series and hope i can find the movie。

I struggled to give this two or three stars so I'll just give it a 2。5。I didn't like this one as much as the first book because there was the inclusion of new characters that really added nothing to the story for me。 Especially the girl。 I also really hate the trope of introducing a new character specifically to complicate things for our main characters。 I find that to be boring, pointless, unappealing, and straight up lazy writing。 Can't think of a way to add drama so why not just throw a rando I struggled to give this two or three stars so I'll just give it a 2。5。I didn't like this one as much as the first book because there was the inclusion of new characters that really added nothing to the story for me。 Especially the girl。 I also really hate the trope of introducing a new character specifically to complicate things for our main characters。 I find that to be boring, pointless, unappealing, and straight up lazy writing。 Can't think of a way to add drama so why not just throw a random third person in the mix to spice things up?? Yea。。。。not my cup of tea。The development of our two love interests was nice to experience and it felt like it all could have happened without the inclusion of this new character。Many of the top panels in my copy were cut off as if the book had been trimmed shorter than intended。 The book also left off in a strange place。 It didn't feel like a cliff hanger but it definitely didn't feel like the story was complete either。I'll still read the next book but this one definitely wasn't my favorite。 I'm loving Kohei and Taichi。 They get a 5 out of 5。 But I just wish quite a few things in this volume were different and that certain characters were never included。 This volume as a whole was only a 2 for me。 。。。more

I realized too late that this was book 2, so had to catch up on the story to sort out what was going on。 I overall liked the premise, but felt it wandered a bit and wasn’t very clear on the important parts。 For someone as straightforward as Taichi, he sure had trouble facing Kohei - really, 6 months and not even a text?

B。d。

As far as BL goes this is definitely a slow burn - not the frustrating type, but the heart-racing, sometimes heart-breaking (but never for long!), always engrossing type about two boys who have truly found someone special in an unlikely friendship that blossoms into something more and helps them both grow as adults。

(4 Stars)“Don’t be so quick to judge others by your standards, when you don’t even try to understand them”I’m really liking this series so far。Although this volume has one of my biggest pet peeve tropes: miscommunication, they do get their act together and talk things through in the end。We get introduced to some new characters in this volume that cause a bit of conflict for Taichi & Kohei。 And they both have to learn to navigate their way through not only their own feelings but life in general。 (4 Stars)“Don’t be so quick to judge others by your standards, when you don’t even try to understand them”I’m really liking this series so far。Although this volume has one of my biggest pet peeve tropes: miscommunication, they do get their act together and talk things through in the end。We get introduced to some new characters in this volume that cause a bit of conflict for Taichi & Kohei。 And they both have to learn to navigate their way through not only their own feelings but life in general。 We also got to learn a bit more about Taichi & his family which was nice。 I liked the fact that the characters individual growth & progression seemed to reinforce their connection with each other as well and helped them to work through their issues to a certain extent。I will say though that there were certain parts where the pacing dragged a bit, but it didn’t hinder my reading experience。 Also the story ended in a bit of a weird spot but as I know there the series continues this doesn’t bother me too much。Overall I enjoyed this volume, and I’m looking forward to continuing on with the series。 If you haven’t read this I recommend picking it up。 。。。more

This improved on the first volume in a number of ways - the art is nicer, side characters are far more developed, and the plot line has more stakes。 I liked the handling of hearing disabilities and showing that people fetishizing them for the wrong reasons are terrible, it had a surprising amount of depth to it。 The ending came up out of nowhere in a really weird spot (it leaves a lot of drama hanging there for no particular reason) and the plot does work with a number of the usual cliches (thou This improved on the first volume in a number of ways - the art is nicer, side characters are far more developed, and the plot line has more stakes。 I liked the handling of hearing disabilities and showing that people fetishizing them for the wrong reasons are terrible, it had a surprising amount of depth to it。 The ending came up out of nowhere in a really weird spot (it leaves a lot of drama hanging there for no particular reason) and the plot does work with a number of the usual cliches (though you'll have more fun if you lean into them)。 Overall it's nice to see the improvement。 。。。more
